Cochrane Review Group on HIV/AIDS

Thank you

We are very grateful to UCSF Global Health Sciences for financial support and for hosting our Group's editorial base. Global Health Sciences (GHS) is dedicated to improving health and reducing the burden of disease in the world's most vulnerable populations. It integrates UCSF expertise in all of the health, social, and biological sciences, and focuses that expertise on pressing issues in global health. GHS works with partners in countries throughout the world to achieve these aims.

For their collaboration and support, through many projects, over many years, we are also very thankful to the United States (US) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Global AIDS Program (CDC-GAP), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC) at the US State Department, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

We are really grateful to our colleagues at our satellite editorial base in Cape Town. In addition to maintaining the specialised register of HIV/AIDS trials and performing comprehensive database searches for review authors, their efforts, through our Mentoring Programme, have led to many researchers from sub-Saharan Africa being trained in systematic review methodology, and becoming authors of Cochrane reviews.

We thank our colleagues from many US and international institutions for their collaboration and hard work on the systematic reviews and other research syntheses we have prepared at the request of WHO and other agencies.

We are indebted to our Editorial Board for their expertise and insight.

Also, of course, we are very thankful to our review authors and to our peer reviewers!

Thank you!
